250gb 360 console coming to U.K?

Expectations are high this morning as Activision and Microsoft announce a limited edition xbox 360 which will be available for pre-order in the U.S. from today.

At a press event to showcase the multiplayer element of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare in Los Angeles in the early hours of this mornin, Activision also announced that a Limited Edition, Modern Warfare 2 skinned 360 will be available for sale which will include a 250gb hard drive, 2 controllers and a standard edition of the game.

Although the bundle is only available in America, priced at $399, Activision have also stated that their will be announcements towards the end of the week regarding the sale of this in other countries.  The big question now is whether the 250gb hard drive will be available as a standalone item for sale closer to Christmas.  With the implementation of Sky, downloadable games on demand etc, it would seem silly not to be able to purchase it on its own.
