Call of Duty Elite Drop 1: Liberation, a militarised Central Park in the heart of NYC, features a vast landscape ripe for long-range sniper and LMG kills. Mounted turrets on opposing ends of the map offer overwhelming firepower to anyone brave enough to man them. Elite Drop 2: Piazza, set in an idyllic seaside village, Italian getaway gone rogue, where blind corners and a complex network of branching pathways pose danger at every turn. Visceral close-quarters combat dominates in Piazza, and attacks from above and below are an ever-constant threat.

The Modern Warfare 3 Content Season is co-developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software. All content is available first to Premium Members on Xbox 360, but will be available to Premium Members on PS3 before non-premium members on their console.

The agreement permits Mad Catz to manufacture and distribute products designed for use with the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the PlayStationVita portable entertainment system throughout Japan.

“Since we announced the opening of our sales and marketing office in Japan, we have moved rapidly to build brand awareness, localize products and partner with Japanese publishers and developers,” saidDarren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. “Securing a Licensing Agreement with SCEJ is an important step in growing our distribution footprint as we continue our pursuit of growing our international business.”

The first licensed products released throughout Japanas part of the agreement was a selection of licensed PlayStationVita accessories, now shipping throughout the region.

PS Vita Rooms will be arriving in Glasgow on Tuesday 24^th January at 211 Sauchiehall Street. The space will be open to the public for one week until Sunday 29^th January before touring to London prior to the product’s official launch on the 22^nd February 2012.

The PS Vita Rooms comes to Glasgow from Manchester, where a host of celebrities came to check out the new gadget including Tim Westwood who inspired Manchester City’s Mario Balotelli’s to DJ at the space. Other celebs that popped in included Amir Khan, the Happy Monday’s Bez and Manchester United’s Tom Cleverly, Danny Welbeck and Phil Jones.

Visitors to the space in Glasgow will be able to engage with a full program of events, including a live PA by superstar Grime MC, Lethal Bizzle, on Wednesday 25^th January. Full details and further announcements will be made on the PlayStation Access Facebook page.

You’ll also be one of the first in the UK to get hands on with this eagerly anticipated console, set to redefine portable gaming. Visitors get the chance to preview some of the PlayStation Vita’s innovative features, including its OLED screen, Dual Analog Sticks, Front and Rear Touchpads and Front and Rear Cameras.

On show will be a full range of titles, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Reality Fighters, FIFA Football, Gravity Rush, Little Deviants, ModNation Racers and Wipeout 2048.

Staff will be on hand at the PS Vita Rooms to answer any burning questions you have about the console, and you may even get the chance to meet some of the developers behind these great games!

Unit 13 – An Authentic Shooter Built to Play in the Field
First revealed was Unit 13, a third-person military shooter that will offer gamers a true, dual-analogue experience.

Designed from the ground up for PS Vita by Zipper Interactive, Unit 13 focuses on contemporary mission scenarios with an authentic ‘ripped from the headlines’ feel.  Players will be tasked with demanding missions in the most hostile regions of the world – to stop terrorists, dictators, gunrunners, warlords and drug traffickers from destabilising the Horn of Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and South Asia.

Players will choose from six different classes – Infiltrator, Sniper, Soldier, Technician, Point Man, and Support – based on their role and your own playing style.

Designed specifically for PS Vita, Unit 13 focuses on portable play, with bite-sized gameplay and a non-linear mission structure that will allow players to jump in at any time, without having to keep up with a story or previous events.

SCEE also revealed a brand new PS Vita launch title from Evolution Studios, MotorStorm RC.

A unique blend of old-school and contemporary racing gameplay, MotorStorm RC is an addictive racer, with social interaction at the fore.  Players will be able to build an impressive garage of vehicles, with 24 vehicles initially available to unlock in the game, with DLC and expansion packs allowing gamers to access new tracks, vehicles, and more, planned after launch.

Daytona USA will be available on PlayStation Network in late November this year in Europe.
