Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas get PSN discounts

Bethesda are pleased to let you know that from today until May 30^th all Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas add-on packs will be discounted on the SCEE PlayStation Network.There will be a 30% discount on all Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas individual add-on packs (with an extra 10% discount for PlayStation Plus members) and a 50% discount for fans buying all add-ons as a bundle (with an extra 20% discount for PlayStation Plus members).

The Fallout 3 bundle includes all five add-on packs: Broken Steel, Mothership Zeta, Operation: Anchorage, Point Lookout and The Pitt.

The Fallout: New Vegas bundle includes all four add-on packs: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Lonesome Road, Old World Blues along with two additional packs: Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.

The game casts you as a young professional playing for one of the lower league clubs. As the years progress, teams in the divisions above will begin to notice, offering increasing riches in order to tempt a signature. The work of independent developer Simon Read, New Star Soccer is a game which is completely dominating the devices upon which it is installed. This free update introduces expanded career options, including Champions League, Europa League, the Libertadores for clubs and World Cup qualifiers, finals and the African Cup of Nations for national teams - and is available from the App Store and Google Play now.

New Star Soccer is a football game with a difference. Matches are played-out with dazzling speed. Key team highlights outline main incidents within each game. But when your player is on the ball, the next move is yours. Do you choose a simple pass to a team mate? A lofted ball to a player further ahead? If you can see the goal, maybe an audacious long-range shot is an option?

The choice is yours – simply select the angle and pace, then tap the moving ball – your skill and intuition will determine the outcome.

Off the pitch, the action continues, as you choose to develop your player as you wish. Negotiating the demands of the boss, team and fans – not to mention a girlfriend, if you desire – is complicated enough. An in-depth skill-tree allows you to improve your stats in a range of disciplines from free kicks to pace, whilst splashing money on gadgets, cars and property will affect overall morale.

Improve your free kick skills and you’ll become the team’s chief dead ball specialist. Improve your pace and it will make defensive interceptions slightly easier. But watch out for your energy levels – if you’re running out of puff ahead of the big game, you’ll be left on the bench or dropped entirely.

The original release boasts an iTunes and Google Play average score of 4.5/5, with users almost universally praising its career mode. “Easily the best game I’ve played on iPhone. Not put it down in three days,” reads one iTunes review. “I simply cannot believe how good this game is. Worth the two quid ten times over. New Dishonored screens emerge

Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.

Hitman Absolution gets its own newspaper

IO Interactive A/S, a Square Enix studio, is pleased to reveal the first edition of the “HOPE NEWS TIMES.”

The local newspaper for Hope, South Dakota, HOPE NEWS TIMES is a weekly publication reporting the latest news from the town, and revealing a brand new chapter in HITMAN: ABSOLUTION.

Hope and its citizens are heavily influenced by local legend Blake Dexter and his company Dexter Industries. Coincidentally, with the arrival of Agent 47, the otherwise quiet town has become a bedlam of strange accidents and occurrences.

Are these odd events really linked to the Original Assassin? Fans will soon find out, as new stories will run in the HOPE NEWS TIMES each Thursday, and an accompanying screenshot from the game revealed each Friday.

Activision announce 007 Legends

To celebrate the James Bond franchise’s 50^th anniversary, Activision will launch gamers back through time to relive a selection of Bond’s most iconic and intense undercover missions from the popular Bond film franchise with 007 Legends.

A first-of-its-kind Bond video game, 007 Legends features an original, overarching storyline tying together six classic Bond movies, concluding with this year’s highly-anticipated 23^rd instalment – SKYFALL – to offer the most diverse Bond gaming experience yet! As with the feature films, 007 Legends equips players with state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, including Bond’s signature Walther PPK, and sleek vehicles as they jet off to exotic locations and utilise Bond’s quick wits, class and style to take down notorious villains and their brutal henchmen, perform impressive stunts, and of course…mingle with gorgeous Bond women.

“To honour 50 years of the world’s top secret agent, 007 Legends offers a collection of his most famed moments in the smartest and most treacherous Bond game yet,” says David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing, Inc. “Creating a video game storyline that ties together six popular, yet very different, Bond movie narratives can be challenging, but together with EON Productions, our developer Eurocom, has pulled it off to create a homage that we think will be a unique and highly entertaining Bond video game.”
