New Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC out today

Square Enix Ltd announced today that the final set of downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is available today via Xbox LIVE and tomorrow via PlayStation Network.

These include two new episodes; “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess” and “Snow’s Story: Perpetual Battlefield” along with White and Black Mage Costumes and “Mog’s Outfits: A Wondrous Wardrobe,” which includes 16 different costume types for Noel and Serah’s Moogle companion.

About “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess”:

This DLC reveals the full arduous battle of Lightning and Caius. Players will be able to take control as Lightning who has a special ability available only for this episode. This episode includes important information relating to the overall storyline of Final Fantasy XIII-2 and players are therefore encouraged to complete the game prior to playing through this new content!

About “Snow’s Story: Perpetual Battlefield”:

Snow is engaged in battles at the Coliseum after being separated from his fiancée, Serah. The episode also features a battle against the “Arbiter of Time,” who has been watching events unfold at the Coliseum. Snow should pose a difficult challenge to players and will allow them to end the Coliseum battles on a high note, and ultimately unlock Snow as a party member.

First Ghost Recon: Future Soldier DLC unveiled

Today Ubisoft are announcing the first Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier DLC package, the Arctic Strike Map Pack, will be available from 3^rd July for 800 Microsoft points on Xbox Live or £7.99 on the PlayStation Network .

Prototype 2 DLC revealed

Just when you thought Prototype 2 had enough gruesome, shape-shifting tools to get the job done, Radical Entertainment gives fans even more over-the-top viral powers with two great downloadable content (DLC) drops.

From Activision Prototype 2’s first DLC pack, Colossal Mayhem, is available today, while the second DLC pack, Excessive Force, drops on 29^th May, 2012 – each giving fans key add-ons to their arsenal of destruction as well as three all-new custom skins allowing players to parkour their way across NYZ in style. SSX Mt Eddie DLC released

EA announced today the availability of the EA SPORTS SSX Mt. Eddie and Classic Characters DLC packs on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network.

Building upon the successful re-launch of the SSX franchise with 25 review scores of 9/10 or higher, the SSX DLC packs pay homage to the franchise’s rich heritage with the SSX Tricky inspired Mt. Eddie, three retro music tracks, and seven classic retro-themed characters from the SSX universe. SSX fans can purchase both packs as a bundle for £6.49 or download the packs separately for £3.99 each.

Inspired by SSX Tricky, Mt. Max Payne 3 multiplayer DLC detailed

Today Rockstar are happy to announce Max Payne 3 downloadable content plans with a full lineup of multiplayer content planned for release this summer and beyond, starting with the Local Justice Map Pack coming in June.

Players will also be able to order the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass to get all of the upcoming DLC at a special discounted rate, compared to purchasing each pack individually. Starting today, the Rockstar Pass can be pre-ordered for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network from Best Buy or GameStop in the United States (or pre-ordered for PSN directly from the PlayStation Store).

The Rockstar Pass grants you access to all upcoming Max Payne 3 DLC and will be available for 2400 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE), or £19.99 (PlayStation Network and PC) – over a 35% discount compared to purchasing the content individually. Once purchased, the Rockstar Pass enables gamers to download all DLC releasing through the end of 2012 via the in-game store as soon as it is made available on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network, or PC.

The Local Justice Map Pack, coming in June, will include the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. Gotham City Imposters gets new DLC

The newest game update for Gotham City Impostors is now live! And best of all, it’s FREE! In a continued effort to support the game with fresh content and improvements, Monolith Productions has delivered several game fixes, as well as a brand new “East End” map, a new “Bounty Hunter” mode, and more character voice customization. Players can find the free update in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network, and Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace.

Downloadable content will also be available for purchase beginning today for Xbox 360 and will follow for PS3 and PC.

The “East End” map can be enjoyed in all multiplayer game modes, as well as the single-player challenge mode. The “Bounty Hunter” mode offers fans a variation on Team Deathmatch that rewards each team for collecting bounties from their fallen opponents, with the winner being the first team to collect 50 bounties. And for those who want to smack-talk in another language, they can now choose to have their Impostor speak in –game in any of the following languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.

U.S. Spec Ops campaign DLC comes to Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City next week

A complete campaign, featuring seven brand new missions for the US Spec Ops squad will be available for players to download starting next week.

The first DLC mission launches on April 11^th for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE and is completely free of charge. Players will take on the role of either Harley, Dee-Ay, Tweed, Willow, Shona or Party Girl and set about recovering evidence that reveals the truth behind the deadly virus outbreak. A further six missions will be available to purchase in the weeks to come along with four new multiplayer maps.

Additional ending for Mass Effect 3 due this summer

BioWare has announced that Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut, a downloadable content pack that will expand upon the events at the end of the critically acclaimed Action RPG.

Through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will give fans seeking further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3 deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes.

Coming this summer, the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will be available for download on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for no extra charge.

“We are all incredibly proud of Mass Effect 3 and the work done by Casey Hudson and the team,” said Dr. Ray Muzyka, Co-Founder of BioWare and General Manager of EA’s BioWare Label. “Since launch, we have had time to listen to the feedback from our most passionate fans and we are responding. With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe.”

Asura’s Wrath DLC out now

The first DLC for Asura’s Wrath arrives tomorrow, Wednesday March 28th across Europe on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE with further updates scheduled in the coming weeks.

On March 28^th, Episode 11.5 provides players with an insight into what happens between two episodes from the full game. A week later on April 4^th, Episode 15.5 will arrive. Both offer a completely new artistic style taking their inspiration from the world of anime and will be available to purchase for 160 MS points each and €1.99 / £1.59 on PSN.

On the 25^th April we will be bringing players a bundle of four brand new action and rage packed episodes that continue the story of Asura’s rage and reveal an extra twist. The episodes bundle will be downloadable for 560 MS Points and €6.99 / £5.49 on PSN.

Arriving in May, the last of the Asura DLC promises Asura’s ultimate battles. Players will be able to take on Street Fighter favourites Ryu and Akuma with bonus content available in May. Asura will take on Ryu in a battle of the angriest on May 9^th before competing against the strongest, Akuma, on May 16^th. Both DLC packs will cost 160 MS points each and €1.99 / £1.59 on PSN.
