Since Motocross also means freestyle, MUD FIM Motocross World Championship allows players to perform outstanding tricks and show their skills thanks to the game’s Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode, which sets players the challenge to run down the launching ramp with their motocross bike, jump into the air, defy gravity and show off with the most stunning acrobatics and craziest trick combinations they can achieve. Set across six sensational arenas, in locales ranging from the Czech Republic to Spain and USA, the Monster Energy-branded mode allows players to perform all the famous tricks from the motocross freestyle scene.

Regarding game modes, the heart of MUD is the MUD World Tour. In the World Tour players will take on the roles of four heroes, each with their own skills and abilities: they can be customised completely independently. Each hero has a special Talent, and each Talent corresponds to a particular challenge from the World Tour. Riders can be customised in various ways, such as by buying, unlocking and equipping helmets, taking energy drinks or becoming members of teams and crews.

As the only Motocross game in the current season , the players of MUD FIM Motocross World Championship will move from their living room to a spectacular virtual motocross world full of adrenaline and fun, thanks to its exclusive content. The brand new game features 14 different bikes, 84 riders (including stars such as Tony Cairoli, Steven Frossard, Ken Roczen, Jeffrey Herlings, Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey) and 12 official tracks. Besides, the all-new game engine features fully deformable terrain conditions and a realistic MX handling model. Thanks to the physical handling of the bike in the ground phases and the implementation of the typical Motocross manoeuvre called ‘scrub’ in the aerial phases, MUD is the first motocross game that allows players to really make a difference both on land and in the air, just like the best riders in the World. Scrubs can be really useful for overtaking, spending the least time possible in the air, and riders will also be able to complete the jump and land before their adversaries. In MUD FIM Motocross World Championship all the players will be able to compete on the ground and slice through the air when they jump, like the real professionals.

Guest starring in the 4^th development diary is Vanni Oddera, Motocross freestyle champion who has collaborated with the Milestone team to help bring to life The Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode. Thanks to his expertise, which has been gained on some of the world’s most famous freestyle arenas, Vanni Oddera was able to offer lots of advice and input into the development of the game in order to make a more realistic in-game freestyle experience.

The video features gameplay footage and reveals the new Co-op Championship mode that allows two players to drive for the same Formula One team in pursuit of the coveted FIA Formula One Constructors’ World Championship.

Available online, the Co-op Championship mode brings two friends together in the same team as they work together for the Constructors’ crown whilst also competing separately for the Drivers’ Championship title. This brand new feature for F1 2011 gives players a taste of the intense sporting and political rivalry that exists between drivers in Formula One teams as they balance personal glory and directing the development of the car in their favour with achieving team goals.

“Now when I look across the garage and see my team mate in there, I am not comparing myself against an AI team mate, I’m comparing myself against someone that I know personally,” said Chief Game Designer Stephen Hood. “I’m interested in who’s got the most points, who’s out-qualified me. It’s about trying to fight to be the leader of a team.  It makes for a completely different experience, playing with a friend. It’s now a personal game mode.”

F1 2011 will challenge players to ‘be the driver, live the life, go compete’, with wide-ranging technical and gameplay advancements on and off track and vastly extended competitive and co-operative multiplayer components. Players will be able to race against 16 players online plus 8 AI cars to simulate a full 24 car grid, team up with a friend or enjoy multiplayer racing from the sofa in split-screen mode.

F1 2011 will feature all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the highly anticipated 2011 FIA Formula One World Chamionship including the current FIA Formula One Drivers’ World Championship Sebastian Vettel. The 2011 season also sees the debut of the 2011 Formula One Airtel Grand Prix of India at Delhi’s Buddh International Circuit and the return of the iconic Nürburgring to the calendar.

Taking place at the UK’s largest consumer electronics show, The Gadget Show Live, NEC, the final competition will be held in front of thousands of gamers at Mortal Kombat’s spectacular ‘Fight Arena’ stage in the Over 18 Gaming Zone. Players can enter by participating in qualifying rounds taking place from March 14^th through to April 4^th at various GameStation and GAME stores throughout the UK. The first prize is a full size Mortal Kombat arcade machine, containing PS3 console.

The ‘Fight Arena’ stage is set to be a huge draw at the event, allowing visitors to experience the bone-crushing, blood-spilling action on a massive HD projection screen.  Even those who have not qualified for the final will be able to win spot prizes throughout the show as they do battle in the arena.

Both the UK and European finals will take place on Sunday 17^th April and will be hosted by GameFace TV presenter, Julia Hardy.
