There has been a massive buzz floating around the internet today as Media Molecule and Sony are primed to unleash a major title preview announcement at 2pm today.

Such is the enormity of any release news like this that details have already been leaked about what will be in the finished game with the creative aspect being enhanced so much that you will be able to now create games for any genre and not just a platformer like the first game.

The creation mode will enable you to build 2d racers, shooters, RPG’s and also RTS amongst other genres and the developers have also touted trying to have a crack at a mock 3d version of a game too.

Along with this, gamers will be able to utilise the control system to map buttons to their controllers as well as build sackbots, cars etc for their game.  If that wasn’t enough, rumours are surfacing for recording cut scenes, sound effects etc and you will be able to port current creations straight into the game!

Sounding pretty good eh?  We think so too and with all the hype over some major releases this year I wouldn’t be surprised if this tops the lot and takes many a game of the year gong.
