Left 4 Dead 2 DLC gets March release

Valve has said at X10 yesterday that Left 4 Dead 2 DLC, The Passing will be released in March. They have also stated that a new piece of DLC for the original Left 4 Dead title will follow about 1 month later.  The DLC for the original will tell the story of how the original characters meet up with the current ones in The Passing, the new Left 4 Dead 2 content.

According to Faliszek, The Passing itself will see the two groups – you as the L4D2 cast and the originals as NPCs – joining forces to deal with one of its chapters.

There’s also a new uncommon common infected, the Fallen Survivor, who occasionally drops items like health kits when dispatched.

No price for the DLC is available but expect it to cost the usual 800 points.
