PSN Product Manager, James Thorpe, has dropped a clanger by admitting that cross game chat will be coming to PS3.In responding to a post on the EU playstation blog demanding the feature Thorpe wrote: “I wish I could just give you a date, I really do!! Trust me when I say that as soon as I hear from ‘up top’ I will be shouting about it and making myself the most popular person on the blog.

“I hope, like you all do, that its sooner rather than later,” he posted, adding a wink and a smilie.

Since then the post has been taken back down and Sony have refused to comment on the speculation. With the proof already out there expect the cross game chat to be coming to an update soon.
