Dante’s Inferno DLC will provide user generated content toolset

The game has not been released yet but the developers are already heralding the Dante’s Inferno DLC and what it can do.The DLC, to be released in April and titled Trials Of St Lucia, will provide co-op missions where you will be able to customise the game mode, monsters and arenas to create a challenge that can be uploaded to a central server for all to enjoy.
User content will be rated on how good it is and your name put on a leaderboard. Sounds like LittleBigPlanet to me but with more restriction. This can only be a good thing as we see many games now following the same trend to allow this kind of customisation for an unlimited gameplay experience.
Look for our review of Dante’s Inferno very soon. It does all depend though if the postie decides to pop it through the door today as it should have been here yesterday. Got to love em – right?
Agreed. User generated content is an admirable step by the developers in any genre. It creates fan base loyalty and often surpasses dev. creativity. That said, it also generates an awful ot of dross.
