- Early 1976 and my Dad came home with the Videomaster Superscore. Football, tennis and squash on a black and white telly made me the coolest kid at school. My enthusiasm for it lasted long after all my friends had dissapeared off out to play with real balls. I’d been bitten by a bug which left me with a lifelong infection. Two years later and my paper round money was used to feed the first survival game, I saw Space Invaders in my sleep, and every penny I got was spent chasing the highest score.
