Remember me
I grabbed this last night and gave it a whirl for an hour. Looks like much of the same again but with better tyre physics on first impressions. The rivals mode is fun, being able to race against a mates ghost time is fun. The track day mode is a bit arcadey for me but it could be better in the final game. I found the traffic golfs and clios a bit slow compared to my Ferrari lol
One good thing is it’s been confirmed that public lobbies are back…
Well, your time got beat in Switzerland. Time to get Spartan’s time now.
lol, munkey
Gave it a bit of a blast last night, Thought it was really good.
Enjoyed dodging the shopping carts with the bmw once i sussed out their usual paths. Getting a clean lap was quite tricky. The zonda was good too. You can really get some speed up with it and blast around this track. Need to work on the ferrari though. I like the fact that its a ‘car’ you race against and not a grey ghost. Rivals mode ++
Race modes quite good though couldn’t catch the leader with the scooby on pro level. Yet.
All in all i quite enjoyed it and am looking forward to the full game where i can swap the controls about and get back to the clutch.
….and i’ll be keeping an eye on those times too gaz
First impressions are excellent, glad to see that they have addressed two of the biggest issues that I had with F3, first one being the dumbing down of the handling physics with mandatory steering assist and no way of turning it off even with all aids off, it’s great to see the simulation steering in the expert settings has sorted that and the second being that the slightest contact with the AI resulting in a spin while they drive off into the distance as if nothing happened, overall a huge improvement in those areas and a definite step in the right direction in my opinion
