When it comes to worms games, i have to admit they do have a special place in my heart. I remember back in the day when i played the original incarnation on the late great commodore Amiga, marvelling at the simplicity but well designed game. It still gives me goosebumps now.

Worms has a place in my gaming heart for being one of the most addictive, 2D strategy franchises ever and as an avid player of many a retro title I can safely say that the Worms franchise belongs amongst the greats like Sensible Soccer and Cannon Fodder in their respective genres.
